VELOSHOTS: Volume 6
This week's ride started in the darkness, back to early mornings guided only by the lamps on our bars thanks to daylight savings time. For so many, the additional hour of light in the evening commute is a relief and the sign of an imminent spring. For us it's regression, another month before LA's sunrise welcomes us to its streets. Until then we do what we can content with the mornings on offer, concerned only with logging the miles and cracking a joke or 2 long the way.
In addition to our usual Griffith Park climbs, we also managed a full day of East Side hills including Elysian Park, Mt. Washington and Montecito Heights. Friday's coffee ride included a stop at Highland Park's Civil Coffee. All in, 150 miles of good legs, good company and good times.
